Providing regular salsa lessons in Cheltenham - hosts Thomas Melendez and his wife Anna teach beginners and intermediate classes at top night spots and private functions. The Venezulan raver brings authentic, colourful tuition to the most varied of events in the dancing calendar of one of the UK's most happening towns.

Salsa del Sol provide all the latest sound equipment and lighting for private Cheltenham salsa lessons and can include smoke machine and laser lighting (did we mention hot Latin lovelies gyrating for your eyes to delight in?)

Latin DJ Thomas Melendez
Thomas is an accomplished, professional DJ who has experience in teaching quality salsa lessons for a wide range of different events. He has worked extensively in clubs and venues teaching salsa classes throughout Cheltenham and the South West.

Major events have included Bath's Latin Massive, Cheltenham's International Music, Jazz, Fringe and Literature Festivals, Edwin Star Charity concert in Stroud, Raleigh International, Kidderminster and Cheltenham's first International Music night. He has residencies at Blushes and Prema Arts Centre.

He has also worked for Po Na Na nightclubs. Thomas has been involved in many local charity and fund raising events. His extensive repertoire includes top Salsa from London, Birmingham, Cuba and New York. Other music he enjoys playing includes funky Salsa, Mambo, Samba, Merengue, Latin Pop, latin hip-hop, R&B and Global music.
