Salsa del Sol is an International Latin dance and entertainments company that has been organising special events for corporate and private clients with phenomenal success for over 10 years.

Its founders Thomas and Anna are the number one dance instructors in salsa nights and classes in Cheltenham as well as major venues in Gloucestershire. Their classes and nights are hugely popular attracting large numbers each week to enjoy the fun latin atmosphere and professional tuition.   Thomas, Anna and the team have also been invited to teach and DJ in international dance festivals and events.

There are also special discount membership schemes available for booking classes in advance.

BIOGRAPHY

Thomas, from Venezuela is a natural Latin dancer. He learnt Salsa from a young age attending an academy for Latin dance where he was taught by a number of acclaimed dance choreographers. Over the years he has developed his own inimitable and impressive style.  Thomas is passionate about his music and dance encouraging all in his classes to learn, have fun and enjoy the spirit of Latin dancing.

 He teaches all styles including: New York Mambo, Cuban and Latin Hip-hop, Reggaeton and  Bachata.  His teaching specialisms include leading techniques and men's styling as well as musical interpretation. Thomas is passionate about Salsa & Latin music - he is an accomplished DJ both for Latin music and mainstream pop.

Anna Melendez

BIOGRAPHY

Anna has danced Salsa for over 9 years and trained in other forms of dance including: ballet,

jazz, street and tap from the age of 6 where she attended a dance academy, she was also taught by her sister who is a professional ballet and Jazz dancer.

Her passion for Salsa music stems from her family's strong musical background as her father is a professional musician. Her specialisms are New York ladies' styling, shines, choreography and Bachata.  She is renowned for her clear and accessible teaching techniques.
